Ryan is the Founder and Director of Chesed Advisory, a human-centred consultancy dedicated to helping small business owners gain clarity, confidence, and direction.
With a background in business analysis and problem-solving across complex environments, Ryan brings a thoughtful and collaborative approach to every engagement with the client. He believes that behind every business owner's mind are family, relationships, and aspirations that deserve to be understood before solutions are proposed.
Guided by the principle of CHESED—steadfast kindness and genuine care—Ryan partners with business owners to uncover meaningful decisions, simplify complexity, and build foundations for growth. Every engagement with us draws on the Design Thinking framework, applied with a distinctly Chesed lens — one that brings empathy, and customer-centred intention to each stage of the iterative refinement process.
This approach guides us and the client through deliberate cycles of divergent and convergent (or quantity, and quality) thinking: first opening up the possibility space with raw-thoughts, then progressively distilling it toward an outcome that is authentic and strategically sound.
Through facilitated brainstorming and structured Discovery and Define exercises, we make space to capture everything worth capturing, before cutting through the noise to surface the ideas that truly are important to the brand. The outcome then, is a brand direction shaped not by convention, but by the founder's own vision, values and voice they can truly resonate with, and advocate.
